ELTON JOHN has branded JORDAN a "ridiculous liar" for claiming she had a fling with DAVID BECKHAM.

The singer - who is best friends with the England captain and his wife VICTORIA - said Becks was spitting blood over the false allegations.

Elton was speaking exclusively to me as he kicked off his new Las Vegas show.

He told me Posh and Becks were fed up with people trying to wreck their marriage.

He said: "I’ve spoken to David and he is really ****ed off.

"He doesn’t usually let things like this get to him but he’s furious.

"The whole idea that David Beckham would have anything to do with someone like Jordan is a ridiculous joke. It’s all lies. David told me he’s only met her once and he was with Victoria at the time. It’s just nonsense.

"She was just trying to promote herself and her book, But it’s not fair dragging someone else’s name through the mud."

Jordan claimed during I’m A Celebrity that she had a fling with the Real Madrid and former Man U star.

She whispered to NEIL "RAZOR" RUDDOCK that Becks was one of the people she planned to name in her autobiography - and her claims made front page news back home.
