John and June were engaged and she was waiting for an anullment of her first marriage when John became violently ill and hospitalized. He died from a hemophilia attack during surgery on October 30,1949. June was so devestated by his death that she joined a convent with the intention of becoming a nun. She was only there a short time when she became sick and had to leave the order to recover. It was than that she decided to never return.
