Tommy met Heather through his band`s accountant Chuck Shapiro, whose brother was Heather`s dentist. Tommy was immediately smitten with her and they were married within the year. They were married for almost 8 years when Heather filed for divorce for allegations of Tommy cheating. They had Nikki Sixx write a song about them as a couple called "Without You" by Mötley Crüe. They remain the gold standard of rock n roll couple even since their divorce. Their first meeting was after a REO Speedwagon concert.
