Erik and Beverly were together for a year between 1981 and 1982. Beverly reported to have had an ulcer that mysteriously went away after they broke up. They got back together again in 1984 for a short time, but split later that same year.

She guest starred in one episode of CHiPs in 1984 as Ponch`s love interest who was killed by a drunk driver hit-and-run accident. The episode had conveyed a heavy message against drinking and driving.
